Crete Amazonas park & Agios Nikolaos
Amazon Park: This is a private zoo in the northeast of the island of Crete.
The zoo focuses on animals from South America, especially parrots, monkeys, donkeys and goats, which is a wonderful and unforgettable experience for the family and the children.The traditional village of Kritsa. The story It is the only zoo in Crete the Amazonas Park is very clean and well-kept. The staff is very nice and answers any questions. The owner, a young man from Luxembourg of Portuguese descent, has built the Amazonas Park without any help. He wants to save species from South America on Crete from extinction.
The park is open DAILY 10:00-18:00

Shore Excursion Spinalonga Island, Traditional Villages and Churches

The Spinalonga has 1200-1500 visitors daily during the summer months and is one of Crete’s most popular archaeological sites. Spinalonga is also known as Leper Island, where patients from Crete and the rest of Greece were quarantined until 1957.
The next stop is Agios Nikolaos, a beautiful town with a small-town feel that has lots to offer: the lake, port, and Marina. Its unique features start with the lake, a folklore-inspiringly deep body of water that is connected to the sea by a narrow inlet. The lake joins the sea with a strip of water under the tiny road bridge.
